A new show is out on the new BET channel Centric called MODEL CITY, but in this new show is a familiar face in the modeling industry. Wendell Lissimore is an amazing African-American model who has done work for many of the big name designers in the industry such as Kris Van Assche, Hermes, Emanuel Ungaro and so many more.Wendell is an American model who has done tons of work over in Milan and Paris and he owes that all to his unique look. Modeling comes as an easy thing for Wendell seeing as though he's booked so many jobs and has made a name for himself and set a high bar for himself and African-American models in the industry. In the modeling industry African-American males make up approximately four percent of the modeling industry and models like Wendell are making it known that ethnic models are capable to compete as well. Wendell has also been highlighted to be "The next Tyson Beckford" and he seems to be living up to that.
